Dr. Thomas K. Carr, founder and CEO of DrStoxx.com (formerly “Befriend the Trend Trading”), holds both masters and doctorate degrees in Philosophy and Religious Studies from the University of Oxford.  After  16 years as a tenured professor to undergraduate students, Dr. Carr became a fulltime trader, market analyst, trading systems developer, and trainer of traders.  His management company, Kingdom Capital (est. 2012), manages “The 8:18 Fund”.

As the author of two bestselling trading books, Trend Trading for a Living and Micro-Trend Trading for Daily Income, Dr. Carr’s insights into the markets have also been published in The Wall Street Journal, US News and World Report, Investors Business Daily, and Technical Analysis of Stocks and Commodities.

Dr. Carr’s approach combines proprietary technical setups, fundamental analysis, and “company catalyst” analysis to highlight the best stocks to buy and sell short.
