Traders who trade options on the S&P500 have several choices in how to do it. SPX options are actively traded. But they have a lot of meat on their bones. buying just one call can cost thousands of dollars.

Even the smaller sized SPY or XSP can be a lot for traders with small accounts just starting out.

Recently, CBOE Global Markets announced they will be listing "CBOE Nanos." These are options 100x smaller than XSP. Basically about the size of 1 share of SPY. This is big news because it opens up trading to a new class of traders that otherwise were never able to access the market.
